Winning or losing. Do I get to choose?

As a young man I would often watch sports games with my grandfather. My notion of a coach was that they're only to: call plays, regulate who played and who sat on the bench, and yell at the players when they played poorly. As I have aged over the years, I have come to the realization that a coaches job is much more in-depth.
What qualifies a coach to have a fan say "He's a good coach" to another sports loving extremist. One could say that a good coach is: able to call scoring plays, but isn't it the players job to get across the end zone without mistake? Or that the coach puts in the players that will put points on the board, but isn't it also under the players control to hustle and make a fast break? So I guess Average Joe could do a coaches job, which would make all coaches the best and the worst at the same time.
If you take a look at the last example of a "good coach" the truth of the matter is that the player really doesn't choose to be "on" on game day. By positive reinforcement, the true meaning of a good coach, the coach is able to control the players thought process and ultimately their performance on the filed.

Will the madness ever stop?!?

The latest release of the PS3 has created quite a fuss. People are camping out for days just to spend their money on a gaming system. Some intelligent people have bought them and sold them on the internet making quite a hefty prophet. But this is so stupid! The first system to come out was around a hundred bucks, now the latest and greatest syatem is a whopping 600 dolars!!! The problem is, is that theres no hint of any reduction in price anytime soon. It's just going to keep going up and up untill, logically, pretty soon no one will ever buy them anymore. You'll need to get a second morgage on your house just to have a PS17 or an XBOX 7020! I understand the developers want to make money, but they have started crossing the line as of late.

People. Cant live with them, can't live without them

People are so frustrating sometimes. You have experiences with them that really make you pissed and then other times you just love them to death. For example, last night I wanted to hang out with my friends but had to babysit my sisters. So my friends decided to bring me some Thanksgiving cheer or something like that. They came and totally covered my car in toilet paper, bananas, and whip cream. I was watching TV and heard something outside so I looked out side and saw some hooded figures doing their dirty business. I ran out front ready to punch someone in the face! As I rushed the unidentified culprits I saw that they were all my friends (mostly girls so I couldn't punch anyone).
I bring this up to show how much friends mean to you. A person can't live without other people and keep sane. But at the same time sometimes being around people makes you insane. Although its hard sometimes being around people I would chose friends over loneliness any day.
